Shannon’s Mind on Monday(MOM): Glasses and Secret Sales

Amelia has a new look…

She wants glasses and not just any glasses… she wants vintage glasses. She now wears these plastic play glasses to school.

Over the next 72 hours Tea Collection is having a secret sale. Some items are up to 60% off!

California may pass a law that requires all school children to be vaccinated.

DC Entertainment and Warner Brothers announced last week that they are launching DC Superhero Girls.

Hope you guys have a great week!

Target had some really cute girls super hero t-shirts…
I was surprised to see that…
Amelia looks adorable in those glasses, love that she has her own style…
I also love that vaccination laws are being passed, if you don’t want to vaccinate, keep them HOME…

Hope you have a safe trip…
    Not long now!!!

Adorable! Those specs are too cute! I love that you let her just do her thing when it seems so many moms don’t…points for you. Justice had a good selection of fake glasses if she’s ever looking for more styles/colors.

I find it odd that California doesn’t have that law already since every state I’ve been in–Texas to Washington–seems to have these rules when you go to enroll your child in school. Interesting.

I’m going to have to check out the DC girl heroes when I get on my computer. I’m curious to see if they’re really going to push the old characters into the light or if they’re bringing out new ones. Thanks for the heads up on this.

Thanks for the tips on Justice! She loves fake glasses I think because I wear glasses. I can’t share mine with her because mine are prescription. So I am always on the look out for cheap fake glasses for her dress up area.

Oh and California does have a law but there is an exemption for religious beliefs. People have been abusing the religious belief exemption and pretending it’s for religion but really it’s because Jenny McCarthy said so. Most people I know who don’t believe in it for religious reasons homeschool or send their kids to a special religious private school because they know their kids could get sick from other kids because they aren’t vaccinated.

Let's Make Some Noise!
