Last week, I turned 31. I didn’t have time to write a post about my birthday but it was a wonderful birthday.
The Husband is still recovering so we were limited on what we could do. Despite being out of surgery for just a week he still walked to the store in the cold to get me a cake! But Amelia still wanted to go out and Amelia LOVES birthdays so I had to do something. Her teachers helped her make a card for me in school. After school pick up, we went and got our nails done at the same place I went in to labor at around 4 years ago. Some of the ladies who worked there remembered me and couldn’t believe how big Amelia is now. Amelia was very well behaved until her services where done. Then she went back to being a hyper child. Since a child’s manicure and pedicure are done much faster, I ended up only getting a pedicure. Of course, Amelia refused to take a picture with me so I have no proof of this charming mother daughter date!
Next week Amelia turns four. I honestly can’t believe it.
Amelia has been asking a ton of questions about her body and where babies come from. We recently purchased Amazing You!: Getting Smart About Your Private Parts and it has been very helpful. Although, after finding out she has eggs in her body she asked if she could take one out and make scrambled eggs. LOL
