A couple of weeks ago, Amelia and I were lucky enough to go on a mommy/daughter date to Target’s launch party for the Annie Collection designed by Renee Ehrlich Kalfus. I am a huge fan of all things Annie so it was so special for me to share that love with my daughter. Oh and… the party was awesome.

There was yummy food everywhere. Amelia’s favorite was the lemonade and candy stand. She got to draw on a backdrop of the Annie set with chalk, dance to the Annie soundtrack, and get a balloon headband. She also got a chance to view the Annie Collection and was very interested in it. She looked at all the pieces with great detail because I told her she could only have one.

Amelia was such a social butterfly at this event and even got to meet Quvenzshane Wallis and all of the other girls who play orphans in the movie. She even invited them to her birthday party.

Here’s a video about the line and the launch party. You can catch a glimpse of Amelia at the 0:43 mark.

The Annie Collection includes adorable casual pieces for winter and of course a classic red dress perfect for holiday parties. We received a couple of pieces at the party but now I want to by the whole collection!
