Summer is Almost Over

When we decided to put Amelia in day camp, I had all these grand ideas about what I was going to do with my free time.

summer-is-over
Here were my plans…

1- Deep clean apartment and donate things we don’t need anymore
2- Finish the book I started last year.
3. Work out Every day.
4. Submit a post once a week to The Huffington Post.
5. Find a space for our club.
6. Get lots of sleep.
7. Hang out with my friends I never have time to see.

In reality I cleaned half of the apartment, worked out half of the summer, never submitted to The Huffington Post, got a medium amount of sleep, went to lunch with 2 of my friends, and felt guilty about not getting more done. I did do the laundry every week so we always had clean clothes. if you know me this is a major accomplishment because I HATE doing laundry.

I am proud though that we are in the final stages of finding a space for our club. I can’t wait to share the details with you!

I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer and don’t beat yourself up if you aren’t able to get everything done!

At least you got some of the things done on your list! That is an accomplishment!
The summer seems to have gone by fast, but I think in reality it always does. :(
Can’t wait to hear the news about the club when the time comes!

I actually think you accomplished quite a lot! I never manage to get much done, so I don’t do lists for the holidays anymore…
And I’m so happy to hear about the Club – best news ever!

    LOL…
    Summer is over for us…
Ian started preschool… He’s 3 days a week and he had his first day on Monday…
    He didn’t want to leave!!!
And I’m proud to say POTTY TRAINED!!!
Although for the first few days of preschool they do want him in pull-ups, since he is newly potty trained, and does still have accidents when in deep play… And in a new place, he just might…
But we were out today and he did just fine in underwear all day… :0)

So glad Amelia had a wonderful summer and hope her school year is just as fun!!!
Can’t wait also for the details on your club!!!

Congrats on the potty training! Amelia still has accidents from time to time so don’t worry about that,.

        Good to know… :0)
I hope everything is going mother for y’all on the club front…

Half is always better than none. The space for the club is even a bigger deal than the laundry, IMO. Good luck and wish you the best for that. Laundry can always wait. 😉

Have you taken to calling A mermaid yet? She just looks at home in the pool.

Glad this summer was a productive one.

This is very try and my husband says it all the time. I agree and don’t understand why I care so much about having a clean home and doing laundry.

A calls herself a mermaid. She loves the pool. It’s scary for me to watch her swim but luckily her skills are improving everyday!
