Amelia has been loving her summer at camp. She has tan lines now and loves baseball. Which makes me ask the question… Who is this child?
It’s impossible for me to tan and I hate sports. My favorite activity at camp was cross stitching. How is my daughter so tan and athletic?
Next week will be Amelia’s last week at camp. It will be hard for her to say goodbye to all her new friends and the non-stop activities. It will be hard for me to say goodbye to working during the day. I will probably start counting down the days until next summer on the last day of camp. This summer has been so special for me as a mom because I got to watch Amelia thrive without me being involved. I have always taken her to shows, concerts, and art galleries because that’s what I enjoy. It’s been wonderful watching her develop interests all on her own.
The good news is, Amelia is no longer sad about her new class at school. We got her class list and all her close friends from last year are in her class this year. She still misses her teacher from last year but is excited about her new teacher because they both have names that start with A!
