Royal Everything!

Everything needs to be royal...
A change has happened in our house…

Everything needs to be royal!

Everything needs to be royal...Amelia no longer eats just breakfast, she eats a royal breakfast. He stroller is a royal carriage. When we went to LA, she got upset because I forgot to pack a princess dress. I told her the sundress was what Cinderella wears to the beach and that pleased her. She is fine with pretty much everything as long as I say it’s royal.

Her bouncy rose is now her royal steed and she always makes Freckles play the role of her prince. This is so adorable and ridiculous at the same time. She has always liked princesses but preferred superheroes. I wonder why she suddenly decided to become more obsessed with princesses?

I would write about this more but I am a very tired queen and have to get some royal sleep!

At least they make ALL those things centered around girls…
It’s very hard to find those things for boys…
Ian has professed his LOVE for Sophia and his need for ANYTHING w/ princesses on it, MAINLY Sophia…
He especially can’t understand why he can’t have Sophia panties…
I’ve tried to explain that they’re not cut the same way as boy underwear. They’d be uncomfortable for his penis.
I don’t ever say it has to do w/ it’s b/c he’s a boy, other than it would be uncomfortable…
Should I buy a package and let him wear them? He swears he’ll potty train if I let him wear them, he’d NEVER pee on Sophia he tells me…
    Sigh… I just don’t know… LOL
Somethings ARE just easier for girls… For a little while anyways… :0)

I will say girls are a lot easier in this regard. Amelia loves the movie Planes and really wanted Dusty underwear. They don’t have it for girls so I bought her boys underwear. I bought a size down and they fit perfectly.

I would maybe buy some Sophia panties a couple sizes bigger and see if they fit?

        Thank you!!!!
I wasn’t sure WHAT to do if I did buy him girl ones b/c they fit differently…
        :0)
I am like you, I believe in letting my child express themselves…
My oldest ALWAYS had to match his shirts and underwear, Ian not so much but he’s a much more creative child…
        So we’ll see… LOL
Again, thanks for the advice Shannon, I’ll keep you posted!!! :0)
