Baby Buggy Bedtime Bash 2014

Last week, The Comedians’ Club sponsored the Baby Buggy Bedtime Bash.

Baby Buggy, is a charity we believe in and love. When Amelia was born I was sent clothes from all over the world. It was wonderful to receive so many gifts but Amelia gee out of them quickly and I live in a tiny New York City Apartment. I looked for charities or churches that would accept donations but everyone I asked said the clothes needed to be new. I thought this was ridiculous because some of these clothes had been worn only once and looked perfectly new.

After some searching online, I cam across Baby Buggy and was delighted to discover that not only to they accept used items but they come to your apartment and pick them up. Bingo! I had found a solution to my space issue and I was able to help other families at the same time!

Three years later, I sill donate to Baby Buggy multiple times a year and can’t express in words how happy this charity makes me. In a year where my family has had to cut back on so many things to save money, it has helped our confidence to be able to continue to give back by donating our gently used baby items.

    That’s so awesome!!!
Do you know if they’re ONLY in the NY area or are they in other states as well???
This would help families in a small town like ours greatly!!!
There’s NOTHING like that around here…

They just started up in LA. They are 10 years old, which is relatively new for a charity so maybe in the future they will move to other cities!

        I did just see that…
I found that at the bottom of their page, thanks.
I’ve wanted something like this in our town FOREVER!!!
I might have to talk to some people I know and see if they can help me out, it’s a very needed reality and ranks high above my business owning dream…
Speaking of which, I hope yours are getting back on track.
        Take care!!!

I adore you! This is a fantastic charity! I had the same issue… Clothes had to be new with tags or they wouldn’t take them. I gave most of my things to friends and family who could use it. I’m glad there’s a charity out there now that does something great with those barely worn, barely used baby items. This is excellent!

Thank you! none of my friends or family had kids when I had Amelia so I had no one to hand stuff down to. That’s why i was so happy to find Baby Buggy!

Let's Make Some Noise!
