At my daughter’s school you get to bring in a special treat, paper plates, and cups for your kid’s birthday. My daughter’s one request was that everything be Frozen related. Unfortunately, it’s hard to come by Frozen items so I had to improvise.
My other issue was that her school is nut and diary free and I am not the most experienced chef. So I did some brainstorming and ended up creating these Frozen snowball cupcakes that are nut and diary free. Oh yeah and they are also yummy. Here’s how you can do this as well. Warning it’s VERY simple!
I ordered the Cherrybrook Kitchen’s chocolate muffin mix and vanilla frosting and followed the directions. It was so much simpler than making everything from scratch and stressing out about if any of the products I used contained traces of peanuts. I used blue cupcake holders to make them even more wintery.
For a final touch I put white cotton candy on the top. Be sure to confirm with the cotton candy company that it is made in a facility with no nuts. Also, the cotton candy shrinks a little bit after you add it on so use a lot of it.
All the kids and teachers at my daughter’s school complimented me on my tasty and unique cupcakes and the best part is all of this took me under an hour!
