Princess A hand paints. Princess A’s new favorite art method is to paint my hand.


Princess A hand paints. And then stamp my hand on the paper. I don’t mind getting messy because it’s so cute.

Princess A hand paints. We made another heart because it’s still Valentine’s day month.

Princess A hand paints. Princess A went back to using her brush when it was time to paint on the wall.

Princess A hand paints. Her teacher put hearts on the paper and of course the kids destroyed them. I don’t really understand why but kids love DESTRUCTION. I am convinced that my daughter thinks the whole purpose of cleaning is so that you can make a big mess afterwards.

Princess A hand paints. Princess A got bored with her brush and went back to hand painting. I got lucky though because this time she used her hand.

Princess A hand paints. I never make Princess A wear a smock or get upset with her when she gets messy so I don’t understand why she cares about getting dirty. She has fun covering herself in mud and paint but eventually demands that I clean her up. She even gets upset if I don’t wipe her off fast enough. I guess this is why so many parents I know like to use opposites to get their kids to behave.

    exactly! No child wants to do what their parents want them to do. Reverse psychology is the only way to survive the toddler-18 years!

    I always say that even if you have the whole world will, babies, toddlers and kids still gonna get messy anyway (and get you messy also!). Even worse, most of the time if you don’t let them, they get even messier! So I let them get messy and just stop them when I think it’s enough. They can experiment stuff that way so why stopping them ?

    I love that she doesn’t wear a smock, she is a rebel with a cause. To be better than everyone else with the best attitude ever.
