When I was in middle school combat boots were in. Specifically, Doc Martens.
So, when I saw these boots at Target they made me giggle and reminded me of my childhood. The teenage Shannon would have rocked these boots hard!
But these boots don’t come in my size so my daughter will have to do the rocking.
When Princess A gets frustrated she sticks her lips out like this. It cracks me up!!! How does she even get her lips out that far?

Those boots are so cute! I use to wear Doc Martens in High School. Wore them all the time! My mom was like “why did we buy you other shoes if you wont where them?” For homecoming I wore and all black dress and my mom was shocked that I didn’t wear my Doc Martens. I should have! ROCK ON Princess A!
You totally should have worn them to homecoming. I see people in NYC with that look and I like it.
I’m going to have to check out Target later for those. I’ve been looking for a pair of shoes like that for my little one but haven’t found any. Well, none that were cute lol.
I got these online… I don’t know if they have them in the store.
Those are too cute, I remember wearing boots like that in school as well. Love the dress also, and her pucker is just darn cute!
I”m a little older than you so Keds were the shoes of choice amongst the “in crowd” I did however have a dress that was almost identical to hers.. in about 1984… When I was in 8th grade… (now I feel very very old) She looks so cute and I love the dress and boots together!
I remember those dresses. I think I had one too. I was 9 or very close to 10 in 1984. We wore loud 80′s clothes in Middle School too. I remember the boots but I was more into the rocker/western look (Poison, Motle Crue.) The 80′s were awesome. GO Princess A, you look great sweetie.
I miss the 80s as well!
