chris-christie-obama-1 I’ll admit I haven’t been the biggest fan of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. We just don’t have the same opinions on many key issues. Nevertheless, his state has been hit hard by Hurricane Sandy and I like the way he has handled the preparations and recovery for this disaster.

Governor Chris Christie hasn’t always been the biggest fan of President Obama but after Hurricane Sandy he has complemented the president’s action many times. The president has also praised Governor Christie, and together they have show American that when need be our leaders can all forget about political drama for the good of the country.

Then right on cue Rush Limbaugh said Governor Chris Christie is a “fool” and “fat” for the way he has praised President Obama. Hmmmmmmm what are you in 1st grade Rush? Don’t forget your heart shaped bologna sandwich in your Star Wars lunch pail.

Rush, I get that you don’t like the president but can you just drop it for a little bit. People lost their homes. People died. And even sadder children died.

I don’t agree with Rush Limbaugh at all but he has ratings to worry about and he’s not the only one calling Governor Christie fat. Every time I read an article about the hurricane, no mater what the journalist’s opinion is they always refer to Christie as “rotund”, “big”, “larger than life”. Ok journalists we get it. Governor Chris Christie is not a size zero. I could see how this would be pertinent information if you were explaining what Christie looks like to blind detectives. But you’re not so please talk about something important.

chris-christie-obama-2 Like President Obama and Governor Christie’s Bromance. It’s really inspiring to see two people from opposite sides of the political landscape work together. That’s what I call teamwork. I am hereby giving the duo the Hollywood couple name of “OBAMIE” and buying them matching personalized sweater vests.

And That’s Been This Weeks Shannonigans!

Being from Kentucky, nothing embarrasses me to hear Mitch McConnell blather on and on about his dislike of the President. No I don’t think the President is perfect, but every time he tries to get a bi-partisan bill, the GOP block the effort even if it’s something they actually sponsored or voted for before. I feel that Washington has turned into a giant 6th grade playground. Gov. Christie has my sympathies for the trying time he’s going through and I’m glad he’s accepting the assistance that President Obama is extending with no argument. I can only hope that other lawmakers see this and follow his example of behaving like a grown up.

I love it, great article. I wish people would just stop and take the time to see that they are trying to help the poor people effected by this tragedy. I hope all is well on the coast.

I think it’s great to see these two politicians who may not have seen eye to eye getting along and getting over their differences for the sake of the people. As far as Rush goes, that jerkwad is always looking for any reason to down someone or just be plain mean. The man has no class or respect for people.

I know! Sometimes I think Rush just does it for attention!
