LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE FASHION

Dogs are a girl’s best friend

I was obsessed with the movie Annie
as a kid. I knew all the songs by heart… wait I still do. That’s why I was so excited to take my daughter to see Annie on Broadway over the weekend. She loved the first half and danced in her seat. Unfortunately, when Miss Hannigan sang her big song she folded her arms and shook her head in disapproval. Then when Miss Hannigan said “She Would Step on their Freckles”, Princess A started crying and didn’t stop.

2638112554_390353b3b9 The Husband ended up having to leave the theater and take Princess A to the Disney Store. The sight of mouse ears always cheers her up! I got to watch the rest of Annie without having to worry about her crying. Thanks Husband!

This week’s Lyst collection is inspired by orphan Annie and daughter of a billionare Annie. It has tons of red, tap inspired shoes, and giant sweaters. Enjoy!

Next week’s book is Trick or Treat: A Peanuts Halloween. Expect pumpkins and blankets!

Stay Glamorous,

    I loved, still love Annie!
I’d love to see it on Broadway, that’d be awesome! 🙂
Glad Princess A enjoyed a little of it…

She did better than expected but I was surprised how strong of a reaction she had to miss hanigan

I love Annie too. When I was younger we had the soundtrack on tape. My dad knew exactly how many seconds to rewind the tape to get to the beginning of “Tomorrow”. Apparently I was an unhappy camper if it didn’t start right at the beginning…sorry Dad. I still put the song on from time to time when I need to remember that “tomorrow is only a day away.”

I’m with Princess A, I still don’t like Miss Hannigan.
