Jump!
Anyway, over the weekend our marvelous pup got sick. All the sudden he started puking uncontrollably. My awesome vet answered the phone at midnight to help out. At about 2 am he was still not improving and started to puke up blood so the vet told me to bring him to the animal hospital. He stayed over night so they could give him fluids and monitor him.
I was so worried about him and missed him but knew he was safer with doctors and nurses. The next morning the vet called to say that luckily there was no foreign object obstruction and his blood work came back completely normal. So what was wrong with Freckles??? The vet was shocked but if anything he suffered a 24 hour bug because all the tests came back completely normal. Thank goodness for pet health insurance! I asked how his mood was and she said his paws hadn’t touched the ground since he arrived at the hospital. When I asked what she meant by this she laughed and said, “He has spent the whole time being carried around and sleeping in the nurses’ laps and has spent no time in his crate.” I then joked that he wasn’t sick but pretending so he could cuddle with the nurses.
I am so glad my puppy is healthy but for a 24 hour bug that was scary!!! Thanks for all your good thoughts over the weekend.

Awwwwwwwwwwwww too sweet. Freaking adorable. So sorry that he got sick like that though. Poor Freckles.

I’m so glad he’s better and that it was nothing serious! He had us worried since he wasn’t even allowed to eat bacon! Maybe he can get a spot in next years dog Olympics for jumping! (actually I don’t know what the show I watched the other day was, but it was dogs jumping, catching frisbees and doing a long jump.)
He would only do it if Amelia could be in the ring though because if there isn’t bacon he needs baby giggles as a reward lol
