Great_Gatsby_Official_Tobey_Maguire_Carey_Mulligan-e1323885003572 I have always been a big fan of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. The parties and clothes are so glamorous. I also love the movie staring Mia Farrow and Robert Redford and I am so excited for Baz Luhrmann’s version coming out in the Summer of 2013.

THE GREAT GATSBY CAST FILM IN SYDNEY Sometimes I feel like I was a flapper in a past life. Even my wedding dress was flapper inspired. Needless to say I had so much fun creating this Lyst Collection! It is filled with pearls, drop waists, and lace. Enjoy!

Next week’s Lyst will be inspired by the musical, Annie . Yes, I realize it’s not a book but we are seeing Annie with my family this weekend so I thought it would be fun to do a collection inspired by it.

Stay Glamorous,

Shannon Sutherland

  1. Carey is my girrllll!! I love her. If you love watching movies with her I recommend Never Let Me Go. It also has Keira Knightly and our Spiderman Andrew Garfield (who I love in all his movies). It is beautifully made. A bit weird, but get the tissues!

  2. This is one of my favorite novels. I just love that time period.
