LITERARY FASHION: THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR

The-Very-Hungry-Caterpillar-9780399226908 My collection on Lyst.com for this week was inspired by Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This is one of my favorite books from my childhood. I loved the pictures and that the caterpillar became a butterfly in the end. Lucky for me Princess A loves this book as well! She giggles when the caterpillar is eating all that food.

I had so much fun putting together this collection. I chose deep greens and bright reds in honor of our caterpillar friend. I found glam butterfly, strawberry, apple, and even cupcake patterns to represent all the food her ate.

If you haven’t read this book before you should!

For next week I am going to do another children’s book. I might keep doing children’s books because they are so much fun! So next week’s book will be Where the Wild Things Are because Princess A is dressing as Max for Halloween. I can’t wait to cause a Rumpus!

Stay Glamorous,

Shannon Sutherland
