I thoroughly enjoyed Diane Keaton’s Then Again.
I loved reading about the beautiful yet complicated relationship between a mother and daughter over the years. For example, her mother was happy and unhappy when Diane Keaton moved to New York to chase her dreams of acting.
My favorite part was when Diane Keaton tells the story of how she found her unique style. She was in a New York thrift store when her mom asked her to try on a Fedora. Diane Keaton explained it just worked for her. Now you can see women of all ages and walks of life wearing clothes inspired by mens’ fashion. Thanks Diane!
This week’s Lyst Collection includes tons of ties, hats, and pleated pants. I had issues finding Annie Hall inspired vests but I bet you can find a ton in your local thrift store.
Next week’s Literary Fashion Collection will be inspired by Ian Falconer’s new book Olivia and the Fairy Princesses So get excited for tons of red! Also Princess A and I will be giving away a copy of the book!
Stay Glamorous,
Shannon Sutherland
