When Princess A was done swinging she walked around the play ground. This is a part of the park we had never been to. She turned a corner and saw this bear sculpture. It reminded us of the movie Brave. Princess A was amazed.
Princess A liked the bears so much that she clapped for them.
Then a group of big kids showed up. Princess A is starting to want to play with other kids… ESPECIALLY kids that are older than her. It’s really cute because she stands on the sidelines watching attentively but confused. You can tell she really wants to play and interact but doesn’t understand how to yet.
These girls had a dog as well which made Princess A so happy!
Princess A got tired fast trying to play with the older kids. She had to sit down a recover.
I told her it was time to go home but Princess A just screamed “Woah!” and stared at the bears some more.
Then she got on all fours and pretended to be a bear. It was really cute.
This is why I LOVE New York City. We started out on our walk not knowing what we were going to do and we ended it up meeting some bears and new friends.
