I have written before about my love/hate relationship with fashion. I still feel this way.

When I was a kid, I loved to dress up in clothes inspired by my favorite books, music, and movies. I felt like I was playing dress up, but even better because I could wear the clothes all day. This is where my love of fashion began. So in honor of this, once a week I will be making a collection on my Lyst inspired by a book I love.

This week our book is Hamlet. This is one of my favorite plays by Shakespeare. I love it because it teaches so many lessons yet I hate it because the lessons learned are depressing. I have always loved skulls and when I wear them I am always reminded of the famous, “Alas, poor Yorick” scene from Hamlet. So in honor of this scene here are some fun skull items inspired by poor Yorick.
