The Cootie Kisser Convention on Canterbury Court by Jim Gratiot, is a fun book for reading level 3rd grade and up. It deals with bullies, cooties, team work, and more importantly how to solve problems in a creative and peaceful way. I won’t giveaway the ending but the way these children put aside their differences to solve a common problem and stop the mean bully Stuart Leroy is just as effective as it is cute. I enjoyed reading this book on the my plane ride to visit family in Kansas and once Princess A is old enough to read it I can’t wait to share this book with her.
Lucky for you, author Jim Gratiot sent me a signed copy of his book to giveaway to one lucky winner. If you are interested, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org a brief story about a cute way you, your child, or a friend has dealt with bullies by 8pm eastern standard time on Friday, August 3rd. The winner and their story will be posted on my blog on Monday August 6th.
