I’ll wear my crown how I want to!
I wish I had the amount of confidence my daughter has. If she wants to wear her crown upside down she does.

A crown is appropriate for all occasions!
Princess A also doesn’t care if we are at the park if she wants to wear her princess crown she will.

Funny Face
And if she feels like sticking her tongue out she will do so with style.

Styling
Or wear her hat crocked. It really doesn’t matter to her.

I love me
You know why? Because Princess A loves herself and has more confidence than any adult I know.
Every toddler I meet is full of confidence and self love. Where and how do we loose this?

awesome post, its tragic how easily we lose our confidence. Hope you can teach process A how to keep hers.
I know I try to teach anthony self worth and how to be assertive, the best way is to model that for him,.show him what it means to not care what others think, to show him how to stand up for yourself respectfully.
I agree being agood role model is the best way but it is also the hardest. Better work on my confidence
In my opinion in most cases its sadly life respectively other people who do that.
They tell kids/teens, how they should be and if a person don´t fit to this pic of a “good” or compliant beeing one get bullyed.
I think because of that its important, parents (or any other person) should tell children over and over, that they lovable as exactley as they are.
Every one should know this: “I´m me and I´m wonderful.” Or as the great Janis Joplin once said: “Don’t compromise yourself. You’re all you’ve got.”
I like that quote. Thanks Francesca!
